As a team, we have two main goals:
1) Democratize social capital across distributed workforces
Social capital, combined with skills and knowledge, drives access to opportunity and mobility. However, it is hard to build meaningful connections across large organizations. Why? Relationships and networks are inherently complex. We want to create pathways to cut through the complexity so that individuals of all backgrounds can build, grow, and mobilize relationships. In doing so, we are building bridges to help individuals further their potential and their goals.
Democratizing social capital is akin to creating more efficient, effective, creative, and inclusive organizations. What a world it would be if individuals have more equitable access to leveraging social capital.
2) Bring humanity back into how we engage in a hybrid world.
As we have transitioned to hybrid workforces, digital communications have become primarily transactional, based on process and control with the explicit goal of rapid information transfer. Transactional communications serve a clear purpose. However, these interactions are at the expense of deep and meaningful relationships. We want to build tools to reintegrate humanity into how we engage in digital forums. In doing so, we seek to transition transactional interactions to transformational interactions, creating spaces that inspire, stimulate, and motivate.
From day-one, Tapestree has been built to create tools to drive connection through meaningful and purposeful interactions to create measurable change. We want to be the go-to source for meaningful interactions in a digital world.
